21 place nursery for children aged three months to five years old.

Old School House Community Nursery is based in the old school house next to Eyke Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School. The nursery sits in the middle of the community in Eyke with the local church, shop and school all within a stone’s throw. The team regularly take the children on outings into the local area to explore their local surroundings. The nursery has a quaint and homely preschool room for a maximum of fourteen children and an upstairs baby room for up to seven 0-2 year olds. There are two self-contained garden areas with a canopied area at the rear to enable the children to make use of the outdoor environment all year round.
Old School House Community Nursery offers a range of activities based on the children’s interests and level of development. We also offer more tailored support for those children with special educational needs, disabilities or who have English as a second language. The staff team include a designated safeguarding lead, a special educational needs coordinator and an equalities named coordinator in addition to all staff being trained in paediatric first aid and food hygiene. Partnership with parents is a key priority for the nursery and the team will work closely with you to ensure your child’s experience is positive and enjoyable. We recognise that parents are the primary experts on their child and their needs and endeavour to build strong relationships between the home and nursery environments.
If you would like any further information then please contact the nursery or find us on Facebook to keep updated with all the Old School House news.
